Logistics at A-Basin
On arriving at Arapahoe Basin, please proceed to the 6th Alley Bar. This is located in at the uphill end of the largest building (called the A-Frame)in the base area.
About 15minutes before the ceremony the Black Mountain lift will open, which you will ride uphill to the actual venue. The lift can be stopped for safe loading of small children or people that require more time.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be an outdoor event. Dress code is “informal mountain (but no ski gear, please)”, where the background colours are dark greens and muted browns. Please select bright colours for contrast. Avoid full white, grey, browns or yellows.
Please note, A-Basin is on National Forest land. That means:
no throwing of rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.
Dinner, cake cutting and the party will all occur in the Black Mountain Lodge.
A-Basin’s ordinance means that all music must end by 23:00.
This (11:00 pm) is also latest time for riding the lift down the hill.
